You can sign up to Tinder quickly and easily with your Facebook profile. This simple sign-up process is an advantage to all users plus it helps to ensure a safer and more secure place for online dating.

Tinder linking up to Facebook (and now Instagram) makes fake profiles less likely than most other dating sites. There is a good chance the person is who they say they are in their profile on Tinder. Tinder does not post anything on their users Facebook wall nor does it show their Facebook profile although it will scan through your Facebook contacts to show if any pop-up matches our friends with any of your Facebook friends, if you choose to take advantage of that feature. Your last name is always kept private on Tinder for privacy reasons. This is another feature that makes Tinder and Facebook attractive.

You won’t have to worry about uploading any photos to your Tinder account, your Facebook photos will automatically be included in your Tinder profile.

You will need a Facebook account to sign-up and set up a profile with Tinder so if you don’t have a Facebook page and you want to sign up with Tinder you should go ahead and create a Facebook page. After you have your Facebook page created, all you have to do to set up a profile on Tinder is click on “Connect With Facebook.” This will automatically link your Facebook profile to your Tinder profile. It is as simple and easy as that!

You can access your profile on Tinder from the top left corner and here if you choose, you can rearrange your photos, set the distance, age and sexual preference of the matches you are looking for. Another option Tinder offers you is you can remain invisible by opening up “discovery preferences” and there you can turn “discovery” off. If you do this you will not be shown to any new matches but you can still chat with your friends and people you have previously liked.

THE “SWIPE” FUNCTION

Profiles are not searched on Tinder. Instead, you will receive a new list of matches every day and for the match you are interested in you swipe right(yes) and for any matches you’re not interested in you swipe left(No). The smaller profiles on Tinder consists mainly of photos but you can see if you have common interests or friends on them.

The matches you get with your Tinder App will give you the first name and the age of your match along with their location and when they were last active.

Normally, only profiles near you can be browsed but if you happen to be always on travel the Tinder app automatically locate you.
You also have the option to use Tinder plus, which will let you change your location so you can match with and swipe people from all over the world. In other words, if you are planning to go on vacation you can go ahead and change your location to where you are traveling to so by the time you get there you might have some dates set up and arranged. This is an excellent added feature Tinder plus offers you.

TINDER PLUS

Just recently, the plus version was introduced by Tinder. There are extra charges incurred using Tinder plus, which can range from £2-10 per month. With Tinder regular there is a limit on the number of swipes per day allowed but if you happen to use up your daily allotment of swipes you can just wait until the next day and start swiping.

SOME EXTRAS

if you like somebody and you swipe right on their profile, your profile will appear in their list and after they have swapped right on your profile, you will get a notification that you both match. After that, anything that happens is up to you and the other member. If you choose, you can immediately start a conversation through the built in messenger feature. Another way you can interact with matches is through a newly added feature called “Moments.” What you have to do is take a photo using the Tinder App. After that, your photo will be available for all your matches to review and swipe and if they like your photo and swipe right on it, you can easily start a conversation and share common interests with your match. It should be remembered that each photo is only visible for 24 hours.

FINAL TINDER REVIEW AND CONCLUSION

Tinder is extremely easy to use and can become addictive. If Tinder is for you really boils down to what you’re looking for with online dating, what type of data are you are, and also how seriously you’re taking online dating.

If you like doing your own searches and prefer compatibility testing, or you prefer to get to know your matches more before getting into conversation with them, then Tinder may not be for you. On the other hand, Tinder is very easy to use, it is cheap and fun but deciding on a match is based mostly on profile photos.

These are some of the advantages and disadvantages associated with using Tinder. If the advantages mentioned here override the disadvantages mentioned here then Tinder would probably be a good choice for you.
